The purpose of the workshop was to teach students how to take macro images in the field. This location has a swamp and not the easiest location to work in but has a host of subjects for the exercise. We were fortunate that a fellow photographer had spotted a chameleon for us and this was our first subject. Students were also encouraged to find different natural subjects and I managed a caterpillar of sorts, a fly and a spider. We were also fortunate to find 3 Natal Tree Frogs. These guys are the cutest of all the frogs I have come across and everyone managed to get several images of these guys.
