The 2024 mentorship program will once again commence in January 2024. The purpose of the program will be to assist you to improve your photography on to the next level.

This years’ programme will be 2 faceted. For Gauteng based photographers, this will include both the practical capturing of images as well as the processing of images (option 1). For other provinces (Option 2) sessions will be zoom sessions every month covering processing and online photography techniques.

Modern day photography is a combined skill of capturing the correct image and then having the ability to process the image to achieve the desired result with post processing software such as Photoshop. The programme will also allow you to become exposed to many different genres of photography. We often need to leave our comfort zones to be able to grow in our photography.

Option 1 photographers will receive one on one tuition as well group workshops. This will give you the chance to receive guidance on any specific areas where you need attention or assistance as well as being able to interact with other like minded photographers and be exposed to how others approach the same subjects as well as having fun while you learn.

Option 2 photographers will receive one on one sessions hosted on zoom where all the processing of images as well as individual advice will be given.

What does the mentorship entail?

Private Tuition (both options)

You will receive an one on one private session with myself once a month. This can be at either your or my premises or on zoom (zoom only choice for option 2). The duration will vary from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the subject being covered.

Group Workshop (option 1)

You will attend a group workshop which is generally over a weekend. Here we will cover a number of fun and challenging subjects.

Mentorshop Whatsapp Group

You will be added to the Whatsapp group which is exclusively for the mentorship members. Here you may ask questions, receive tips and be connected to advice from myself all the time.

Image Critique

You may submit up to 5 images a month to me for critique. This will assist you in seeing “the bigger picture”. We generally look at our images only from our own viewpoint and this is often very different from the viewpoint of an independent viewer.

Investment Cost

You will be required to commit yourself for a period of 12 months.  This will ensure that you gain a good knowledge with enough time to put into practice the skills and techniques that you learn.

Option 1 – You may make payment on a monthly basis of R 2150.00 per month or a once off annual fee of R 23220.00.

Option 2 – You may make payment on a monthly basis of R 950.00 per month or a once off annual fee of R 10500.00.
